Boca De Iguanas Access Road hwy 200

This just received from Tom and Tanni please share that Hwy 200 from Bahia Azul to 2 mi on the other side of the La Manz entrance is under major construction. Guess it will eventually go all the way to Melaque. Anyway, the entrance to Boca is really a mess at the moment. Getting RV's or 5th wheels in will take diligence and patience. The north bound lane is now what was the south lane, and the south bound lane goes behind the triangle/bus stop and then winds around to join 200 at the point of entrance to Boca. All is well as there is NO oncoming traffic, can take the entrance as we always have. However, if cars are coming , think one will have to come to a complete stop at the Y they have formed and wait until no traffic is coming. The entrance they have constructed is very tight with a pavement drop off. Anyway, just wanted to let a warning go out.

RE: Shaw channel update

Apparently it’s a Winegard ! I’m thinking it won’t work without the recent upgrade!

RE: dometic thermo prob

there is a work around using just the Furnace wiring and an everyday coil type of Thermostat! It takes a bit of effort and a schematic to see which wires to splice into. I can say that the Telco Wire is not used to perform this ! I just followed the installation instructions that are available on line for the furnace itself ,mine is a Suburban! A Thermostat is just a Switch that opens and closes automatically to a set temperature!

RE: MaxxFan (Smoke with Remote Control) Best For Ventilation?

I had never had any issues with Fantastic Vent Fans until they were bought out by the current owners! Now looking at the changes that they have made to the product that needed no changes , I reluctantly will have to buy something else! They used to guarantee their products virtually forever and seldom were there issues with quality or parts failing. This new crop of products will not stand the test of time! Like most products on the market today it’s all about the Bling and nor about quality of construction!

RE: Shaw channel update

Well I’m still uncertain! One acquaintance says no problem another says Only 3-4 Channels ,Both live in Ajijic! Also all information from Employees at Shaw Direct indicates that there is going to be zero !

RE: 2011 Honda CR-V

I Tow a 2007 Honda CRV. Start it every morning ,go through the gears back to Nuetral. I don’t time it but probably runs 3 or 4 minutes. After shutdown I pump the brake pedal 3 or 4 times to bleed off the Brake booster! It’s a Brakemaster Air Braking System

RE: water water everywhere but not a drop to drink!

It’s is a simple solution to a Boondockers dilema! The folks who must have a shower every day may be the reason that our planet is becoming more and more polluted! If you grew up in the 19 thirties, fourties and the early fifties , there were no Daily Showers ,as a matter of fact in some households a weekly Bath for a family often involved taking turns using the Galvanized Tub by the Kitchen Stove sufficed! I can’t recall anyone dying from having a bath! Of course we did not drink the water and nobody brushed their teeth while having a Bath! Obviously I’m one of the survivors!
