RE: Need some advice

We will visit Black Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Mojave NP, Sequoia NP, San Francisco, Yosemite, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Zion NP, Brice Canyon NP, Canyon lands, Grand junction. Total of 4000 miles in 5 weeks. As others have stated, San Francisco would not be on my list. But I would add Moab, It's the town/area to stay when visiting Canyon Land's and Arches NP. Page AZ, Antelope Slot Canyons. Lake Powell and other sites on Colorado river. So many other places to visit hard to list them all.

RE: Freelander city water inlet repair problem

Take the outer frame off. Should give a little more room to work.

RE: engine longevity?

I sprayed frame of my MH with Fluid Film. When I sold it in 2017 everything underneath had no rust or corrosion. Was easy to do on the Super C because it had much more clearance underneath than regular C's. Every year when we left home to go south there was snow or ice on the road.

RE: Freelander city water inlet repair problem

None that I can find. I'd have to drop a tank to get at it from below, and either go through a wall or remove the shaower to get at it from inside. BTW: is there a way to attach a photo on this forum? It would make things a lot clearer if I could. Same link as other have posted. This one is thru Forum Posting Help and Support link in upper right corner of every page of the forum.

RE: 2008 Jayco Seneca HD

As a 2008 with a 330 hp 6.6L Duramax, this will have a DPF, but no DEF right? Correct. No DEF. Not sure about 330 hp. Standard engine was 300 hp.

RE: Fixed: Reverse lights not working

UPDATE: So although I had initially checked the bulbs, I only looked at the filament. Well, after checking the fuses and relays I pulled the bulbs and wouldn't you know they were both corroded at the base! Replaced the bulbs and BOOM problem solved!!!! Before you seal the light up you may want to put some protectant on bulb and connectors. One product is Camco 55013.

RE: 28 Foot / Chevy Chassis, Looking to upgrade suspension...

I put air tabs on my Super C. Helped a lot like others have mentioned. Never did see a fuel mileage improvements. I found a super deal on them on EBAY. Had enough left over to put a line of them on bottom of cab over. Stopped a lot of cab wind noise and kept windshield cleaner from bugs. Got idea for cab over from truck camper forum. They get a lot of air/wind trapped behind rear cab window and camper.

RE: "C". Or Super C?

A properly equipped Super C can go just about anyplace a smaller C can go. We were able to do state and Federal campgrounds with ours. There are some that limit size. But not that many.

RE: Dipping my toe in the Class C waters, Which one

The numbers look very close to the Gulf Stream Endura 6340 I had. Great MH after I beefed up rear suspension and tires. Without much in it rear axle weights were over the 13,500 rating for the rear axle. The 264" wheelbase may help with weight. The Endura was 239" with a shorter chassis cab. Good luck with your search for a Super C.

RE: Calling all Road Warrior owners - RWS, RWT, RWM

Also in case you did not cannot let your diesel or gas tank get below a quarter of a tank or the Generac generators won’t run there is a some kind of a mechanism in there to keep you from emptying your fuel tank using your generator There is no switch. The suction fuel line for generator in fuel tank only goes down 3/4 of the way into tank. OP, do you have model and manufacture of generator in your motorhome.

RE: "Best" RV GPS Nav Systems

You can add many of the POI (point of interest) to your current Garmin by using POI Factory . The POI are updated regularly. It may take some time to use figure out how to use POI Loader. It works very well. One of my favorite POI's is 22,847 NORTH AMERICA CAMPGROUNDS (CSV) By Rivopom. It includes locations and phone numbers for each campground. You can add all of your interest to the Extra's file in your Garmin. I had to add a memory card to my Garmin to download all the POI's I added to my 2 560 DEZL Garmins. 6 years ago I bought both of them off Garmin Factory Outlet. Have not had a problem with either one.
