RE: Scottsdale Arizona 2023

Thanks for all the great information. I think I'm narrowing down our stay to Usery Mountain. I understand Scottsdale Stadium may be old but it's the Giants Park so that is the Stadium I'm most interested in visiting.

Scottsdale Arizona 2023

The wife and I are starting early on planning a trip to Scottsdale for SF Giants Spring Training in 2023 in our 39' 5ver TH. Does anyone have any personal recommendations for a mid week stay around the last week of March? We've never been so we're not familiar with how close all the different Stadiums are. We would like to catch a couple games during the week and we're not against driving a little to get to different stadiums depending on the schedule and proximity to Scottsdale Stadium. 55+ is OK and we'll have 1 dog with us. We don't need much as far as amenities and even dry camping is OK provided it's clean and safe. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

RE: Cold weather, generators, and campgrounds

Why on earth would you leave your water heater on overnight? Are you prone to sleep-showering? The same reason anyone would run their water heater at anytime. They like to have hot water when they turn on the hot water spigot. They don't want to have to plan their hot water usage. I don't know how many of you enjoy RVing when so much of the process bothers you lol, and it takes a month of planning and appliance schedules to get through a week of camping. I can see planning your usage to conserve fuel, depending on the length of stay but if anyone doesn't want to hear a sound from my rig at night, I suggest YOU move cause I'm not breaking any rules. In my opinion, if you expect my site to be silent while you sleep or any other time, you are the unreasonable and inconsiderate person. I'm running the furnace to stay warm and I'm running the hot water heater so anytime I turn on the hot water it's there. I am not scheduling my hot water or furnace use. I use it because I have it to use and it's not breaking any rules.

RE: Solar sale

I just bought 4 Renogy 100w panels on Amazon for less than a dollar a watt. There for my golf cart though lol. As for whether or not you can run A/C or space heaters off solar, yes you can but it's expensive. Like around $10k expensive and you need lots of roof for the panels. Once you have it though it's pretty amazing. Dry camped for 4 nights running the furnace all night, set my Kuerig to heat up at 5:00 am and stays on for 2 hours. Even if there's no sun, with lithium batteries I can charge them fully in an hour or two max with the generator and a 120a charger.
