RE: Forwarding Mail

Curious with Colorado having a state income tax why not move your official residence to a state with no income tax. This why you see so many RV's with license plates from South Dakota, Texas and Florida "Most states—41 in all—impose a broad-based individual income tax. Only seven lack an income tax altogether: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Tennessee and New Hampshire fall into a gray area. They tax dividend and interest income, but not earned income"

RE: Badlands

Or Sleepy Hollow Campground in Wall, walk to Wall Drug and the town of Wall is at the western edge of the Park and surprisingly close - Good Sam rates it 8.5/8 - I really liked the location to explore both the park and Wall We have stayed there twice in the last few years We have stayed at the KOA also and prefer Sleepy Hollow - people in their reviews from as late as last fall still report there is no cell service at the KOA - we had to drive out of the campground up a hill to get service

RE: Rio Grande Village RV Campground in Big Bend NP

We have stayed there twice it is only 25 full hook up sites so hard to get into, we stay there for a week and then moved to Maverick Ranch in Lajitas to visit the western side of the park It is a parking lot but the only full hookup campground in the park - a 35 ft fifth wheel is no problem - they are all back in sites Alpine too far away in my opinion our site last year https://i.imgur.com/D3xAbDxl.jpg

RE: Prescriptions while on the road?

Use Walmart or other national retail drugstore to fill you scripts. They will refill or fill your scripts just about anywhere. We have done it several times. Barney x2 Walgreens works too

RE: Camping near Biltmore Estate

Looking for a nice campground near the Biltmore Estate for our 42' class A. Prefer a full hookup. Thanks! We liked Bear Creek - it was closer than the other Ashville campgrounds that we saw - its about 4 miles from the Estate

RE: Winter Storage

With power electrical available cycle the inverter side of the Magnum MS2000 OFF and leave the battery switches ON. With the coach asleep for the winter you won't need the inverter in a ready/standby state to come online if case of a power failure. Keeping the battery switches ON will allow the converter/charger side of the Magnum to keep the batteries fully charged. Check the battery water level from time to time the same as you would during the summer. If you did not have AC power available then the battery switches should be switched to OFF. Excellant advise do not turn the battery switches off if it is plugged in

RE: Selling my RV advice

This is for anyone who has dealt with PPL Consignment in TX. I'm thinking of selling my 5th wheel and considering bringing it to PPL. I went on their website and most of the reviews are negative. I would appreciate input if you've dealt with them, or if there is another place you would recommend to sell. I really don't want to sell it myself. Thanks, Allen Funny I went to their website and saw positive reviews - I would expect that on their website - always heard good about them personally https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/comments#Seller
