RE: seattle rv parks

I live there. There are tons of really lousy RV parks here - I mean BAD. The only place I would stay at is Lake Pleasant in Bothell. It's located in a suburb of Seattle (about 20 mins away) and is very nice. It's also convenient to stores and restaurants. I would stay there if I didn't live around the corner from it.
I go there often as our son lives in the area - the KOA in Kent is remodeling and I understand it is much better
We stayed there 3 years ago and the place was a dump. Our door was just 3 or 4 feet from the next guys sewer. Couldnt park your tow vechiel there, had to scramble for a parking spot. The site was full of cig butts when we arrived
Like I said much better as they just remodeled- so it was not good 3 years ago things change

RE: disappointing info for Jeep Trailhawk flat tow

We purchased a new Jeep Trailhawk in 2014.Suggestion - If you want help then post relevant information like model and drivetrain. What model do you have? My understanding is that Trailhawk is a trim level used on multiple models but that could be different for your 2014.
\
Purchased 6-7 years ago and posting now - what is the point to this post?
I own a 2014 Cherokee and have always heard all Trailhawks were towable 4 down

RE: RVParky trip planning software

There is a huge difference between planning a one or two week excursion & a three or four month trip.
There is no replacement or substitute for the stand alone MS Streets & Trips which is like carrying around most every map right in your laptop. I have MS S&Ts 2013 on a 8 year old laptop that is on its last legs having done tens of thousands of miles being bounced around on a laptop tray in the truck.
I somehow lost the original software disk, not that new laptops can accommodate disks, & don't know how to copy from the old laptop to a newer one.
Most of the online mapping seems to only allow about 8-10 waypoints per file & once saved or downloaded there is no ability to change once on the road without connectivity.
We seem to be going backwards in flexibility in trip planning.
You need to check out RV Trip Wizard it can do all you say others can not - I used MS Trips and Streets for years and Trips is much much better - they keep enhancing
it all the time

RE: RVParky trip planning software

The best trip planner out there is RV Trip wizard - I have used it to plans over 10 trips of over 25 stops each and even used it to plan a three week car trip in Europe
It is very easy to download it and put it in my Garmin RV 660

RE: Garmin GPS

Don’t waste your money, I have one and it sometimes sends me down winding roads with tree branches overhanging the roadway at window level or even down a dead end road. Garmen, never again.

RE: 30 foot limit

Depending on your style of camping regarding hookups you might choose to stay outside the national parks
There are 50 National Parks in the lower 48 including the newest White Sands and Gateway Arch in St. Louis
Of the 50 - 34 do not have hookups or any camping - 8 have full hookup and 8 have electric only

Have you looked a average temperatures up there for November - on the coast even if you could camp you will find nothing open
