RE: Looking for 5 star RV Park

sailor Lou I'm looking for CONCRETE or ASPHALT pad. Every place is gravel, dirt or grass all over the USA. Although limited, Danforth Bay (Freedom, NH) has a few Deluxe Sites. Below is their description from the website: Deluxe Sites Danforth Bay has 4 full hook-up, deluxe camping sites. Located in close proximity to the lake, these sites have a 12 x 45 foot concrete pad for parking your rig, a 10 x 10 foot patio complete with table and chairs, fire ring and charcoal grill. Standard to all full hook-up sites are 50 amp services, water*, sewer, cable and recreational WiFi access. *Please note, water hook up is not available seasonally from fall (mid- to late-October) through spring (late-April / early-May). In the north? Northeast, northwest, mid-America or Canada? In NH we have this: Danforth Bay Lou 05 Travel Supreme Envoy SSN-691 (1975-1981)

RE: Crazy static pop while waxing/cleaning motorhome

Definitely check out the ground and fix it if necessary. However, why not just unplug the motorhome and see if the same thing happens? Lou 05 Travel Supreme Envoy Cat C7

RE: Belts on diesel pusher

Mine seems to be somewhat rare in that the water pump is driven off the serpentine belt with no separate V-belt. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I am able to install it myself without too much difficulty. I also have a rear radiator setup so it's all done from the closet floor. As Brett noted, I check the fan bearing pulley ever year (I have the setup with the sealed non-greaseable bearing) and did change out the tensioner a few years ago as a preventative maintenance item. RE: Purchasing a RV in another state

We purchased ours in NC and lived in CT at the time. Took a trip to the NC Motor Vehicles with the original owner where they transferred the title and gave us a temporary plate. Very easy and pretty inexpensive transaction. I did need to show NC insurance, which I had gotten prior to flying down there.

RE: Ford 460 Engine vibration in overdrive

Have you checked the pinion angle? It's a relatively easy thing to check and doesn't require expensive equipment. Lou 05 Travel Supreme Envoy

RE: Long Term Stays

I'd park it and enjoy the stay. We park ours in the garage at seasons end (normally mid-September) and fire it back up when the season starts back up again (normally mid-April). We've done it this way since we started this MH deal about 25 years ago and never had an issue. On my farm tractors it's even a longer downtime (up to 10 months), same deal, never been an issue. Same here with everything we own (RV, boats, classic cars and backhoe). Lou 05 Travel Supreme Envoy
