RE: camp ground cable into

i find that hard to believe if it does not have a tv tuner then it is a video monitor and not a tv. find the brand and model number on it and type those and the word "manual" into google so you can download the manual. if it does not have a tuner you will need a external tuner/cable box to be able to select the channels you want to watch.

RE: TV recommendations for outdoor TV entertainment center

take the tv off the mount and bring it inside and hook it directly to the sat box to see if it works then you will know if its the tv or the connection. What kind of connection is it using to connect to the sat box?

RE: FanTastic bathroom fan?? ((UPDATE))

if it has been hard for the motor to open the lid or it did not open all the way the motor may have been stopped wile still powered up causing it to over heat and now it may not have the power to open the lid as it once had.

RE: 1979 dodge mobile traveler 360cl wont pass emissions

when we had emissions testing here on my camper van i had to adjust my idle mixture screws on the carburetor in until the engine just started to stumble at idle a bit to get it to pass. there was a one year exemption issued if it would not pass after several tries to give you time to get it fixed.

RE: WiFi extender - Alfa Camp Pro 2 OR ANOTHER

if the wifi network you are trying to connect to uses a web browser sign-in function for its guests to utilize their WiFi you will have trouble getting the extenders to work. It is much like when you go to Starbucks and connect, but need to accept the Terms and Conditions on a web browser before being granted access to the Web. there have been other discussions about this there may be a workaround for it but i have not tried yet.

RE: Replacement radio completely off

you should be able to press and hold the source (src) button or press it multiple times to turn it off and into standby mode. to completely turn it off for storage you will need a switch on the power wires.

RE: Older Yamaha EF1000

a friend of mine had the original Yamaha EF1000 that we used mostly to charge his boat batteries on his house boat if it had been sitting and not used for a long time we had to take apart the carburetor and clean it with a can of carb cleaner then it would run great again. if the voltage is low the frequency will be running low also. there is a governor and speed adjustment to adjust to correct it there is a service manual available for it. it was a great generator and he was very mad when someone stole it. adjustment page

RE: Drawing water from a lake

Help me understand. If the water is safe to drink today, then why wouldn't it be safe to drink tomorrow, or next week you better start reading about why. without treatment not just filtering bad things will grow in your tank and get worse with each refill cdc centers for disease control and prevention-drinking contaminated water can increase the risk of developing certain infectious diseases caused by germs such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Shigella, and norovirus, among others.

RE: Maiden voyage is over and I got christened

in situations like that a rv macerator pump would work great i use a home made one from a home garbage disposal weekly at my seasonal site 75' through a 3/4" garden hose then i do not have to move my rv. takes me about 20 minutes to dump my 3 tanks and put it all away.

RE: Maiden voyage is over and I got christened

always always always drain the black tank first then push it through with the gray tank water. but it would have been better to wait and back up closer to dump the tanks.

RE: Still battling water pump issue

sounds more like the pressure switch at the pump going on and off as the system comes up to pressure that would make the lights flicker. have you opened all faucets and gotten all the air out of the system? that could cause the pump to cycle on and off rapidly as it gets up to pressure.

RE: Fridge temp discussion about lower compartments

the drawers on the bottom of the refrigerator are called the crisper drawers. it is a compartment located within a refrigerator designed to prolong the freshness of stored produce. Crisper drawers have a different level of humidity from the rest of the refrigerator, optimizing freshness in fruits and vegetables. if your not using them for that purpose removing the partition above should get them to the same temp as the rest of the refrigerator. refrigerator crisper drawer
