RE: Trav'ler Sat dish Problem
has your satellite dish been unused for a period of time? If so it goes to sleep and you will need to contact one of their tech people to turn it back on
RE: Salt Lake to Albuquerque on a 40 Pusher then to Florida.
Don't sweat the indians. I'd be more concerned about the NM Gov. closing down everything, which she just did. Avoid NM at all cost.
They are termed native americans not indians
RE: Getting ready for winter
Should be right behind the panel where your fresh water hookups are. Usually has a small screen/filter that must be removed during winter else it will freeze and crack
RE: RV sale pending, but we found evidence of mice...
Thoroughly check all electrical functions of the rig before purchasing it to insure the mice have not eaten thru any electrical wiring. This is especially important if the rig sat unused for a period of time.
RE: Handling freezing temperatures
Assuming your rig is fully enclosed since it is a van? Would therefore assume your heater will keep all pipes internal to the van from freezing? Disconnect water supply before going to bed and you should be good to go? If the water supply is a "short run" you could also use a heat tape on the water line and be okay depending on how cold it gets. Could also easily wrap the line/heat tape with some type of foam pipe wrap.
RE: Ford 6L diesel in the news again
My son's truck was a total loss when the fuel pump failed and sent metal shards through his engine. Ford knew of this issue but did nothing about it. Ford SHOULD have replaced the fuel pumps on these trucks. The next model year they changed out the fuel pump to a different type...
I will never own a Ford...
