RE: Hwy 93 from Missoula to Salmon, ID.

We've done it with a 40' 5th wheel with no problems.

RE: Delta, CO to Durango via 550

Depending on how comfortable you are with mountain driving. Passes and switchbacks. Two lane with no shoulder or guardrails. We did it with a 40' fifth wheel with no problems. Take your time and enjoy the beautiful ride.

RE: 5th wheel Hitch recommendations

Short box I would go with a auto slider. I've had 3 mega cabs and used the Pullrite Auto Slide. Yes it is heavy but you never have to worry about hitting your cab in a turn. No matter how much room you have, there will be a time when the cards will be right and it will happen. Just piece of mind.

RE: Roll up tonneau cover for GMC 2500HD Short Bed

I have the Truxedo Lo Pro on my Ram and hit the rail a couple times with my pin box on a real sharp off angle turn. Reason is I have an air ride pin box and let the air get a little low. Last time I had to get a small maul and a block of wood to beat it back in place.

RE: Question on Hydraulic Fluid

Make sure all your hydraulics are retracted...slides in and leveling system is up. Then check level. Our Lippert system uses auto trans fluid.

RE: Dealing with campground reservations

Back in 2010 when we retired we plan a month plus trip and reserved each stop. Made the trip difficult because we had to be a certain place at a certain time. Then we decided the following year just to plan two to three days ahead. This has worked great until "The new norm". Planning a trip this year has been a real pain having to plan each stop again. Hopefully as QCMan has stated nothing happens and create the ripple effect. Glad when we can get back to the "Old Norm"

RE: Buffalo Bill State Park

This late in the game you're gonna have a rough time finding a place to stay. We booked in Cody three months back and almost couldn't find an opening.

RE: Help with Forest River

Took me three times to figure out Forest River products are the worst for after the sale support and warranties. Never buying a FR product again..

RE: Wheel bearing advice

Do ours yearly, we travel around 10-15,000 miles. Tear them down, repack, change seal and adjust brakes.

RE: GD Momentum 395ms with Ram Megacab

Towed with a Mega for over 10 yrs but had a Pullrite Superglide hitch. I know you said you didn't want a slider. I liked the piece of mind and never even thought about hitting my cab with the trailer.
