RE: Louisiana State Parks

Poverty Point is one of Louisiana's newer state parks with full hookups. Not much shade as trees are young. It's a nice park though

RE: Route from Cleveland TN to Asheville N c

We've done it with a 40' fifth wheel a few times, if going out Ashville way. Not bad and very doable.

RE: Red Lodge Montana

If I'm not mistaken I think the KOA is full hookup. We stayed there a couple years ago. It's not a well taken care of place but we were there in early June

RE: Mt Rainier

We were there last week. Stayed at Yakima River RV Park. Full hookups campground with no amenities (bathhouse/toilets). About 45 minutes to Rainier but centrally located for places to the north.

RE: Damaged RV on roads on way home from Florida, anyone else?.

Speaking of bike trails, traveling on I-84 through Washington state they are building a hell of a bike trail along the interstate. Wonder where the money came from for it...

RE: GS Trip planner

Good Sam Care Team it seems most like the way the old trip planner worked. If you want to improve something stay with the old and add to better it.

We have Wholesale Warranties for our 5th wheel. Have made numerous claims with them. Never any problems if following their glidelines. Guess we've been lucky so far

RE: Port Huron, MI Border Crossing into Canada

As others have said crossing at Port Huron was quite easy. We overnight at the KOA and crossed in the morning. The KOA was the biggest and best we've ever seen.

Good Sam Trip planner

Soooooooo….Just looking at trip planner, is this the new trip planner Good Sam? If it is it sucks, seems you can't change routes. Rather the old trip planner.

RE: Let’s talk about that great Grand Design build quality

Owning different brand campers since ths late 70' and a currant GD Solitude owner, I can say that all campers are made the same. I've found the support after the sale is better than others as long as it's in warranty. Personally I've has no problems with them with warranty things. Just lately made a claim on water dammage from poor design. Imagin my surprise when I get an email saying they would pay. My trailer is 3 yrs old and out of warranty. I'm far from a kool aid drinker but I though that was pretty good.

RE: First 3 months with a new GD Imagine, kind of long story

I have to say GD will stand behind their product if it's a design flaw too. We have a 2016 Solitude. Had problems with WFCO inverter which has a two yr warranty. It was just out of warranty so we had to pay for it. To make a long story short, just recently found a soft spot in the storage area. A unsealed screw in the hatch door flange. Didn't think it was covered under warranty, got it fixed. Sent email with pictures and copy of the bill. Imagin my surprise when I recieved an email from GD stating that it was a design flaw and they would pay for it.
