RE: Dish pay as you go, and Pathfinder Dish

We just activated two receivers on our King One Pro and our Pay as You Go yesterday! :) For those whom already have it, to suspend the service during off season, do you just not pay the bill or is it better to call? Are you charged anything when the you suspend the service? Thank You.

RE: Pulling 16 Foot Cargo Trailer w.2 Harleys

We're quite pleased with the overall performance of our 2018 Coachman Leprechaun 311FS on the Ford E450 V10 platform. We're pulling a 29' foot enclosed trailer coming in right at the 7,500# limit. Have gone West and East a few times, not really into any mountain type travel yet with this setup, though we did quite often with our prior motorhome that had the Ford V8 in it and never really had concerns with it. Our current rig does tow much nicer though.

RE: Storing with levelers down?

Needed or not, I always store our class c with the hydraulic leveling extended. While it my “not” be necessary, I feel better having the suspension “unloaded”! It also maintains our unit level, as our parking spot is not perfectly level! memtb I do as well. Ours has spent the majority of its life up on the jacks. Never had an issue and have spoken directly to jack manufacturer whom said "That's why you have them, to use them." No long term issues if we just spray the extended cylinders with a dry lubricant, which we do. As long as one uses their head when setting them, there's no worries for over flexing the frame or all the other crazy worries I see people post about. People just need to use common sense.

RE: Campground Theft

Just as long as they don't take your beer! Had that happen. Camping at racing event in Iowa a few years ago. Local kids drove around campgrounds and stole dozens of coolers. Ours, as most others, had beer in them. Cops caught the kids and were kind enough to put all coolers in a room back at the station and kept them iced. We had to go "Identify" our cooler and contents the following day. From then on out we never have left coolers out when we stepped away from our site. Had a chair taken from our campsite another time and found it sitting all alone at a neighboring residence.

RE: The "Goodbye Room"

Sorry for your loss. It is never easy. Last fall our Greyhound (14 years old) had to be put down. Our vet as well has the Good Bye Room. When I brought our Greyhound in, there was a very young Vet Tech and Veterinarian, also on the quite young side. Both were very professional and compassionate. So much so that they both were crying along with me and I was even asked (by veterinarian) for a hug. While I was very sad to be putting our last Greyhound down, I was happy for the care and compassion I was given. I was allowed all the alone time I needed before leaving. And the Good Bye Room also has a private exit from the facility.

RE: Leveling Jacks pro & con

Our first Class C did not have them. Our second came with the Big Foot Jacks and I love them. Can't see having a MH without them now.

RE: Upper Peninsula

Our favorite campground is Nice sites, not to cramped at all and good amenities. Great little bar/restaurant on site as well that does fantastic smoked bbq. And if ATV's / UTV's are your thing, Jack Pine has access to thousands of miles of trails. I also highly suggest a boat tour of Lake Superior!
