RE: Breaker Panel Help Please

Have you talked to the rigs manufacturer? Regarding the AC maybe it is wired for 2 ACs.

RE: building new campground

I would say you have your answer then. I would phase it in, transients first to give you some income and then create the longer term sites.

RE: building new campground

To see how popular your location is you might want to look into Harvest Hosts. RVers who belong to HH are just looking for a spot to park overnight, no need for any hookups, your brewery would be a draw. All anyone is looking for is a flat, level spot.

RE: Black Tank Leak

Yes, we had a gray tank leak and used this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BOB8P6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Worked great!!! Fixed it 2 months ago, bounced across Alaska and Canada and still fine. We gave it a good test.

RE: Auto Generator Start

The problem with the MarCell and other warning systems is the assumption you have cell phone service and wifi. We find we are without many times during a trip or are off hiking in the wilds. The EC30 and the Magnum turn on the generator if there is a power failure, this is assumming you are running your AC initially.

RE: Auto Generator Start

Normally RV mfg. install the EC30 with the generator. I understand it is a difficult component to do as an add-on but Magnum has an autostart also. You might want to look into that if needed.

RE: Auto Generator Start

Do you have an EC30 controller in your rig? This would be where you start and stop the generator. If you do you can program that to do what you want.

RE: Roll Call Alaska 2019

Anyone traveling to/in AK should pay close attention to the wildfire issues. Sterling Highway was closed but now has reopened and I believe the Parks highway is also having problems with smoke and fire. I found this site to be very helpful before and while we were there: https://akfireinfo.com/ We signed up for emails on all the roads we travel via 511.Alaska.gov and fund the emails extremely helpful. I am also hearing of snow in BC, Fort Nelson to be exact.

RE: Roll Call Alaska 2019

When we stayed in Riley(mid-June) we saw Moose all the time, with calf. One day we put up the shades and there were a Mom and her calf 2' from our rig munching away. We also had been warned about a Mom and her 2 calfs being very aggressive in protecting them and to avoid. We were at Riley mid-June also, site A22. Maybe we were neighbors! We saw those moose too along with a mom and her triplets that hung around the entrance! Ships passing in the night. I don't remember my site number but it was the last loop.

We drove it last week. Thought it very rough until you get south of Iskut, then road improves.

RE: Recommend me a Vacume Food Bagger

We have had FoodSaver for 20+ years and have been extremely happy with it. You can use your Bed and Bath Coupons to buy one, Walmart also carries them and, of course, Amazon.. FYI-When/If it stops sealing after many years a new gasket is all it needs.

RE: Tires

Depending on your weight you might need 265s This is a good website to check physical sizes https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=255-80r22.5-275-80r22.5 I think Michelin makes these oddball tires so you buy their products. We have always switched to Toyos and have been very happy.

RE: Tires

Walmart recently had the Toyos in a compatible size for a super price of $250 each. I would check Walmat.

RE: Which Cell Phone Carrier is best in specific locations?

Do it online and pick a different area code.

RE: Which Cell Phone Carrier is best in specific locations?

We have one phone on Verizon and one phone on ATT, both with unlimited hotspot. We have never been limited on data and we use quite a bit. We use Cricket($55) for our ATT and Visible($40)for our Verizon. ur primary is Cricket and we have used it throughout Canada and Alaska with no problems.

RE: Water Filters

Try the RVwaterfiterstore.com. He has many filtration options. We have a dual system,a carbon filer and a sediment filter. I am not sure about the filtration numbers.

RE: HR44 Recordings. No access without antenna.

We have the same problem but figure it wasn't worth it to call since we are in Alaska and have no service anyway.

RE: going from Class A to TT or Fifth wheel

rsqquy, We have had a gas MH for 3 years and the only maintenance we have done are oil changes and a front end alignment. We have added things, but they aren't maintenance.
