RE: Keystone denying claim (of course)

Pics needed so we can see what you are talking about. Deal direct with Keystone and bypass the dealer for getting warranty approval. The dealer may not have even contacted Keystone.

RE: Ford owner installed trailer camera

... I had to buy when dealer screw the training on my dually. Huh? What is "when dealer screw the training on my dually" mean?

RE: Truck camper generator oil type/Built in or small portable.

So what is a good oil that meets all the spec's of a small portable generator that we use for our truck campers that is equal to Honda or Onan oil and does it have to be 4-cycle oil? Look at the specs on the Honda and Onan Bottles, then go to your favorite store that sell oil and find oil with the same or better specs / ratings. Done.

RE: Ultimate TC Bed?

Just a reminder. April fool was 16 days ago. Not sure what that has to do with anything in this thread.

RE: Wingard Air360+ with WiFI Router

The lack of reviews on Amazon speaks volumes. It's a fairly new product, sold mostly at the OEM level, minus the WIfi / 4g router box, hence the reason I can't find much info.

RE: Ultimate TC Bed?

Since this is TC bed, how do you sleep on it? Lay down flat. COver up with a blankie. Lay your head on a pilla if you want a soft cushion for your noggin.

RE: Ultimate TC Bed?

Looks like a truck bed, not a TC bed. When I read "TC bed" in the title, I thought of the ultimate mattress for a truck camper, not a truck bed.

Wingard Air360+ with WiFI Router

I can't find a whole lot of details on this product. One video I found, a guy is standing in his driveway rambling about it but never does a hands on with the product. Another video talks mostly about the TV antenna portion but also describes the mounting options for the WiFI / 4g router. I'm curious if anyone has the Air360+ and has added the router device to it, to extend your range for picking up WiFi. Interested to know what kind of ranges you are seeing.

RE: Hub grease seal.

Stop pumping and wipe off excess when fresh grease appears. If you start seeing fresh grease appear out the front of the hub, the hub is overfilled with grease, and has likely already blown out the inner seal. I've dismantled numerous hubs that use the EZ lube system. The majority of the grease pumped in through the zerk fitting goes BEHIND the inner bearing, and blows out the seal.

RE: Spittoon? in a shower Wolf Pup camper

...but having the kids sleeping right above your head must be pretty bad for the sex life. If there’s kids sleeping above you in the camper, you’ve already gotten all of that you’re gonna get. From that person, anyway. :):) ROFL. I was thinking the same thing.

RE: Honda EU220i Generator Availability

This would make the second recall on them within the last year or so. I've checked locally with 4 dealers who all tell me that this model is subject to a national recall from Honda due to a gas leak problem. I did some searching and Can only find the recall from last year... There doesn't appear to be a NEW recall on a leaking fuel issue. https://powerequipment.honda.com/support/recalls-and-updates

RE: 2012 Yukon XL Towing 30Ft

That trailer is so much longer than the SUV I would not do it. It's usually called the tail wagging the dog situation. Wait, what?!? How many trailers are on the road where they are much longer than the truck? Does that make them unsafe too?

RE: Goodyear Endurance Tires on Sale

Just a few months old... look like they are straight from the factory. Extra clean and shiny. Mine are D rated, not C That's the nice thing about the Endurance tires... all the sizes I have seen have a higher load rating than the same size tires in other brands. Here's a video I found a while back on weight of an Endurance vs a Les Schwab ST tire.

RE: Graveside Boondocking?

I see many post about boondocking. Some in very public parking areas such as Wal-Mart parking lots and some on the side of mountain road. I don't consider parking overnight in a Wal-Mart parking lot to be "boondocking" The official definition of Boondocks is: 1 US, informal : a remote, thinly settled rural area https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/boondocks Side of a mountain road definitely IS boondocking.

RE: Upgrading head and bars only on EQ hitch?

Selling the individual parts you are replacing is viable, but most people will want the whole kit, or at lease the bars, the head and the shank. Selling the head and bars might be a tough sell. I'm just saying this because anything I don't need, I sell it on Craigslist or some other online market place.

RE: Front glass window protection

Why do you think it needs to be protected? So it doesn't shatter from a flying rock, then require replacement in the middle of a trip. It's highly improbably that a glass shop can replace it same day or next day like they can with a car or truck windshield.
