RE: Braking system & brake buddy

Road master and demco have other braking solutions, this could also be an insurance issue if you get into an accident. Personally if my toad breaks free I want it to stop. That’s why the breakaway cable is there

RE: Best portable heater (30 amp) for my rv?

RE: Laptop Shuts Off

Laptops have thermal sensors in several locations, if things get to hot the bios shuts them down, at the age of the laptop, the air is the first solution the second would be thermal grease around the cpu and heat sink, sometimes that gets dried out.

RE: Help: Towing A Jeep First Time

Test your light, park lights on rv and flashers on rv should do the toad lights pull the pin on the breakaway switch make sure it/activates your braking system think if you need remote tpms for the Jeep that has temperature too.

RE: WHAT dinghy or toad is good to tow ???

Really comes down to what you want or need I’ve towed 2006 wrangler (still have it) 2001 and 2004 grand Cherokee, 2001 Cherokee, Chevy Cruze, and now have set up 2019 Cherokee but not toad yet, each one had a different set of nuances and it’s good to do a lot of reading before you buy.

RE: Caution

Question to the original poster have you read and understood the flat tow instructions for your model https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?bookCode=O41026&variantid=6275&languageCode=EN&countryCode=USA&marketCode=US&vCode=&vFilteringEnabled=False&subTitleSelected=G1953026&chapterTitleSelected=G1676120&topicHRef=G1953027&viewTech=IE&div=f&userMarket=USA

RE: Caution

There are a lot of missing details on this one, but it’s sounds like you might want to engage a lawyer for guidance with no easy way out, when we tow our wrangler 2006, we always ease into it after hook up and watch it on the camera, I recently added the tpm system to the rv and Jeep to watch temp and pressure, you might consider something like that as it would have helped, I wish we would have years ago. Folks may not realize on the thread it was the Ford Edge that went into park, a brake indicator will moot show that, it sounds like some malfunction of the car electrical or neutral setting. Lots of unknown on this one.

RE: Water Pump replacement for older Travel Trailer

Share a photo of your existing pump and we can provide more feedback, it’s possible something like a fuse may be blown.

RE: Selecting portable compressor

Look at the cycle time for the compressor that will tell you, how many minutes on vs how long to cool. I carry a box mounted Arb compressor with a plug kit I’ve used it twice for tires. Once going to ak to help a new married couple air up their tire a second time on a. BOat ramp out several miles from services, we plugged the tire and they drove home. I’ll always carry one
