RE: Jeep toad ?

The Jeep tj 1997-2006 does have a chipped key option, if it’s thick and gray it’s got sentry key, you remove the steering wheel lock, I’ve done that to my 2001 Cherokee and me 2006 Jeep unlimited, both tow well. I also have demco stay and play in each rig.

RE: new camper needs help!

I’ve owned a class c for the last 12 years, as they get older they need more maintenance. It’s always something, tires, battery, engine work. It all adds up, if your good mechanically and creative an older used trailer would be best. A pop up inst a bad way to start, but everything needs fixing

RE: Campers helping campers

I was in craters of the moon a year or two back in Idaho, when a couple and their two kids pulled in and couldn’t get their trailer setup, they said they had recently bought it and couldn’t figure out why they were not getting 12v anywhere. This campground is a dry camp with no power. I took an electrical testor over and found the circuit breaker between the battery and trailer had failed. I think they were just about ready to cancel their trip when I showed them how to work around it and to replace the part at the next hardware store they saw. It got them up and running so the lights and fridge would work and they were very friend/social the rest of the night. I was glad I could help them.

RE: seattle rv parks

I’m not aware of any campground in Seattle area with a pool , I live 2-3 miles from the Kent koa, it is a dump. There are many better places than that, but not a lot. Game farm in auburn, Lake Pleasant in bothell, would be my suggestions

RE: Auburn Washington suggestions

There is a state park out by black diamond farther east if you are interested, just not a lot of facilities in this area. Skip the koa in Kent.

RE: disappointing info for Jeep Trailhawk flat tow

the Trailhawk trim is present on many of the different jeep platforms- if you have the compass that model is not flat towable if you have an automatic- looking at Roadmaster- they say the manual transmission is towable- Hope that helps.

RE: disappointing info for Jeep Trailhawk flat tow

Do you have active drive 2 in the Jeep? I’d question wether the dealer was right or not, what does your 4 wheel drive button in the center console look like? I’d get the build sheet from your vin and look it up. Pm me I might be able to help, I have a 2019 trail hawk

RE: Lifting my class C

I suggest giving a visit to a loacal fab shop to see if they can raise the hitch for you and put the receiver higher up snd raise those casters, that would be quick and easy

RE: Conflicting information tow dolly

There are vehicles where the steering components can not handles the stress of this. I would get a representative of the vehicle manufacturer customer service engaged. There are fewer cars that are towable these days
