RE: New rig for boondocking?

We graduated from a 27-foot TT to a 32-foot FW a few years ago, and almost exclusively boondock in the forest. Clearance is occasionally an issue but ours isn't as tall as the larger FW's. Our biggest challenge is the rear jacks, which hang pretty low and will drag through some dips in forest roads. Keep an eye out for that. I still wouldn't trade it for the convenience of auto-level.

RE: Our new solar/inverter power system

That is a very elegant, powerful, and professional system. I have a smaller variant of your configuration: Reflection, 540 w solar, 580 ah battery, 2800 w Magnum inverter. I say this because I can relate to your experience and expertise in designing and installing such a system. Every time we sit down to an after-dinner espresso while boondocking, we appreciate what this system adds to the experience. Very nicely done!

Suggested locations in Arizona's White Mountains?

My wife and are looking forward to a couple weeks on the road in our FW with our two rottweilers, in early September. After a hot summer and all the COVID insanity, we just want to get out of Phoenix and boondock in the White Mountains. This is new territory for us, so I'm looking for wisdom here on recommended areas and any other things to consider (like permits). Our FW has solar, nearly 500 ah of battery, full house inverter, cell booster and too many creature comforts. We just want to get away. Our preference is wooded areas and it would be a plus to be near water, but not a hard requirement. Just want cool and private. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
