RE: 2008 Itasca catalytic converter & pipe stolen

I just saw an ad for a catalytic converter lock cage. It supposedly protects the cat converter from being cut off. Has anyone heard of or used this type of device ?

2008 Itasca catalytic converter & pipe stolen

Went to the storage area, as do monthly, and when I started the motorhome it was LOUD! Looked underneath and all the pipe and catalytic converter had been sawn and removed. Really pisses me off! Spend all that money to put your rv in a supposed safe environment and POW. Nuff said. Now I need to find a shop to replace the cat and pipe. Does anyone have a recommendation around the Roseville/Sacramento area? Thanks much for any help!

Best RV trip planner

I am looking for the best RV trip planner that would show mileage, estimated travel time, fuel stops and campgrounds (good sam and private). I'm having to do this since the new Good Sam trip planner is total garbage and not really useful anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good Sam trip planner

What happened to the Good Sam trip planner. It used to actually be helpful. It used to show mileage, estimated time, gas stops and campgrounds along the route. Now all it shows is turns and miles and good sam parks on the map. You have to somehow figure out where you are to find a campground. This is not helpful at all. I could get just as helpful information from Map Quest (which is not helpful for an RV). What a disappointment !!! Does anyone have a better source for trip planning information ??

RV appliance repair in Sacramento area

Can anyone recommend a company in the Sacramento, CA area that specializes in RV appliance repairs or that is a very good general RV repair facility. We are having issues with both our electric (heat pump) and gas heaters. Thanks for any help.

RE: Bluetooth Dashboard speaker

We use a Braven bluetooth speaker. It has plenty of volume and has a great dynamic sound.

RE: ..............

I like FMCA's Roadside Assistance by Saferoads. Check it out before you renew - Sure it'll cost you another $75/year to belong to FMCA but with that you'll get a repatriation insurance policy to get you and your RV back home if you are incapacitated and can't drive it. You couldn't buy a policy that good on your own for that price. X2

RE: RV Tank Maintenance

The best holding tank treatment available is "Happy Campers" It's available from better RV supply stores, Amazon, Ebay and several dealers websites. Here's a link to one of those dealer's websites where you can learn more about it: height=300 Amazon: I agree with the Happy Camper recommendation. Have tried various products over the years and Happy Camper is the best I have found.

RE: Looking to upgrade suspension and add a steering stabilizer

I added roadmaster sway bars front and rear, safe t plus steering stabilizer and kelderman air bags in front. Am very pleased with everything except the air bags. The air bags do help with harsh bumps, but do tend to bounce. I understand that the new liquid springs system is very good, but pretty pricey.

RE: Roadside Assistance

some where I read that AAA is only good in your home state, don,t no if thats a fact or not. coach net has been good to us ,and you can understand the person on the phone, never could understand why they have people on the phone who don,t speak english. used three times with great service each time. Coach Net is very good, however, they have raised their rates for new customers to astronomical heights. I tried Good Sam for one year then switched to FMCA roadside rescue.

RE: DI spot free rinse

I use the standard CR Spotless DIW 20 on my motorhome and take a DIW 10 system with me when I travel. It is a great system so I avoid having to dry the coach. Have been using them since 2007. Where did you buy it ?

DI spot free rinse

I need to get a new spot free rinse system. The waterstick system I have is giving me nothing but headaches. Has anyone found a good reliable spot free rinse system ? Thanks for any help.
