RE: Border News

The economies of North America will not survive 1.5 years of lock downs and closed borders. I am a retired businessman and every time I see a boarded up restaurant or hotel I could cry. An entrepreneur puts his bheart and soul into a businessb. When it is shut down that person becomes a broken man or woman. Probably will never start another business. A lost opportunity. That's the point of all this!

RE: Shark Bite on older pex

I've used Sharkbites in our manufactured home. It's a '94. I have been running way high pressure as well, and I'm amazed at how good they work! I have used them in our new RV doing a faucet change out with no issue.

RE: surge protector and water filters

When we bought our first RV, it had a clog in an elbow of an inside pipe right after we bought it. After that, I never allowed water into the rig without at least a sediment filter. When we got out of RVing, i was to the point that I had a complete home made system built into a milk crate that filtered everything, included a pressure regulator and could have been set outside or plumbed into the storage bay when cold or very hot out. It eventually morphed into a manifold system in our 5ver bay.... As for surge protection, I don't recall using one, but do intend to on the future. I used standard household filters.

There are many flea markets and farmers markets throughout the valley. fruit and produce is almost giveaway cheap. A few less vendors this year due to covid. This alone makes me want to try RGV instead of Az!

RE: Thor or Forest River - Warranty and reputation

My dad bought a 2020 Thor Class C, and has filed under oregon state lemon law as it can't seem to keep the starter battery to last more than a few days at a time. CW had it many times, and found a sort in the hydraulics, that they thought was the culprit....but nope. It's now at a Ford dealer to get looked at...
