DIY folding table/bed under 30$

Hey guys.

this is my version of a table/bed for my DIY campervan.

you'll need :
1-2"x4"x96" (be picky, least knots)
1-2"x6"x24"
6-spring hinges
1-latch/lock
4-adjustable table legs levelers

cost me around 30$ (excluding top)

the top and sides will have the same laminate as my counter tops and refrigerator face panel. I will add another plywood on top and cut the corners 1"diam. The top width is 22" I have 24.5" between my two bench and 47" inches in length because the laminate sheet is 48" you need at least 0.5" on each sides to cut it with a router.

If you noticed I used a piece of 2"x6" on one side, simply because I did this project using pieces I had laying around (scrap).

Also when I use framing wood to make furniture I like to take off 1/8"-1/4" on each side of the 2"x4" using the table saw, I just break the corners using sand paper by hand real quick, IMO it looks better.

As soon as I opened the box I knew this was good quality. All screws go in perfectly, the paint finish is perfect. I have the DIY SmartDesk Kit with business edition version and the mechanism works very softly and looks very strong. Couldn't be better! I love my DIY standing desk. #diystandingdeskwithAutonomous

hm, new user, necro's a thread from 2015 with her first post ever.

Hm, "this is good as price" then a reference to a product, could it be a bot not knowing you can't post a link as a new user?
