I put air bags on the rear of my P-32. This was after putting new springs on. There isn't really any arc to the springs. After putting them on I run around 60-70psi on them. It not only helped with the problem but it seemed to smooth out the ride.

Just a few miles from my campsite here in Hillsborough River State Park I saw a guy with exactly the same motorhome as mine. He was talking about how much he loved the handling on his. As far as I could tell, the only thing he had that I didn't was a Steer Safe. I've got a feeling my rear springs have a sag. I'm going to measure the clearance between the top of the pumpkin and the frame later today. Since I just bought it, I don't know what it has hauled.

I'm not ready to give up. I just bought it. The water tank is empty. It is in the rear of the coach. Maybe I should fill it.

Our 1992 P30 32' handles like a dream. The PO said adding the Steer Safe was the best $350 he spent on the MH the 7 years he owned it.

It saves wear on the bell crank and other movable parts. Ours is easy to control with just one hand on the steering wheel.

65 psi front 60 rear really helped. Either an air bag, sumosprings, or Timbren for the rear. Steer Safe when I get home. I've got an appointment with a spring shop tomorrow. I've got a clicking right under the floor of the driver's seat that sometimes seems to be coming from the steering and sometimes seems like it's coming from the suspension. If I'm lucky the steering box is loose and all my problems will be solved!

SumoSprings ordered, SteerSafe ordered. Coming home it was a lot better with the lower rear air pressure, but there was room for improvement. I got better at managing the wind push. It did best when I rocked the wheel left and right quickly like the old truckers used to do. I think I am over correcting when I get the wind push, and the SteerSafe should help with that. The SumoSprings should help it stay straight up and down with less tilt left and right.

This MH is much faster than the Excursion towing the Jayco. It wants to run 70, but I keep trying to keep it under 65.

Added the Sumo Springs and SteerSafe. Made a huge difference. I recommend the SteerSafe for any motor-home. The Sumo Springs really tightened up the rear end of the MH; but it also made it ride a little rougher. It doesn't float like before. Much less left right twist when while turning sharply. It drives much more like my Excursion. I drove it about 20 miles on the interstate and was passed by a few trucks. I probably won't use it again until March when I take it to Florida for Spring break.

We paid a lot of money for sumo springs on 2007 Gas Pace Arrow made no difference what so ever in my humble opinion waste of money.

I just drive slower to get more control of driving in windy conditions.

Increasing the air pressure on your air bags on windy days will help a lot. They do make dash controlled air compressors to increase or decrease the air in your air bags as you drive so that you can adjust things as conditions change.

Glad they worked well for you. We never drove our MH without SteerSafe but per the previous owner it is worth the money.

Just drove it for a day and a half to Daytona area. It is like a different coach. With a load the Sumo Springs are perfect. I do not understand how the Steer Safe makes such a difference, but it does.
