Think he's asking if Kyle won yesterday would Denny make the final 4. From what I read on NASCAR's website regarding clinch scenarios, possibly not because he was 20 points behind Kyle after Texas. Pretty sure the only way Denny made it to the dance was with a win.

For a second there I thought he might be implying that KYLE, out the goodness in his heart, orchestrated the whole plan. Or, maybe that it was the $100K in cash trick. WE all know his heart is as white as the driven snow.....[emoticon]

If the 18 won would the 11 be in the finale?

No. It would've been Logano. He had more points than Hamlin but Hamlin went thru because of his win. Busch went thru on points.

^^^This. Kyle kept the 12 off of Denny, so Denny could make the finale.

Yep, he sure didn't have any trouble getting around the 12 on the 12's 2 tires.
The 9 got wrecked and the 42 got burned by the 43'S $50,000 spin the week before. They both had a shot at a win otherwise.

So the odds favor a Gibbs team, but.............

Harvick is the X factor. His pit crew doesn't screw up, his performance on 1.5 mile tracks of recent seasons, The Closer just might pull it off.

Driver Odds
Kyle Busch +275
Martin Truex Jr. +350
Denny Hamlin +400
Kevin Harvick +450

Stewart Haas against the world (Gibbs). I still like Hamlin, but also like Harvick playing David to Gibbs' Goliath. We'll see Sunday.....

PS: The weather forecast is great, sunny & 80.

Three are driving Toys, and the other found on road dead. Wish I still had my Cessna 185, I wouldn't mind being there in person.
