I finally got around to watching the awards ceremony.
That was a touching end to Rowdy's speech, I'll have to go easier on him in the future.

Saw him on NASCAR America Motor Mouth. He was a riot, funny and even took a few jabs at himself. He has really grown up and I would be a big fan if he gets back in a Chevy.

He was a long way from home. You can only travel with the wife and kids until they start school. Harvick, Boyer, and Kyle B will be at that point very soon, along with many more that don't get the publicity so that we even know they travel with children. Cup is a serious grind.
I'm sure that he is set financially for life. I say good for him.

Pearn’s team had more than their share of penalties. With the new cars coming out and rules being changed all the time, can’t say as I blame him.

Interesting thought, why fer?

Maybe a Mark Martin 'retirement'?

Bill Simpson Dies At 79

Never knew he sued NASCAR for defamation in the wake of Earnhardt Sr's death. But do remember how NASCAR trashed him over it. RIP.

I thought Dale died because he refused to wear the Hans Device, and if he would of used it he would have had better chance of survival.
RIP Simpson
