Chase Elliot, son of Awesome Bill from Dawsomeville, drove a Chevrolet owned by Rick Hendrick (multimillionaire). Congratulations!
Is this the same outfit that just hired Kyle Larson? And, did a Ford win the regular Championship? IMO things are looking up for next year.

That Chevy had a homing beacon built in evidently, it just kept coming to the front.
An emotional day for the young man, it was great to see that after the race.
As to who should get fired that one goes to Brad's entire pit crew. I'm fairly sure that Mr. Penske has already ordered the changes. No excuse for that performance.

It was nice watching Jimmie following the final 4 across the finish line.

Last years field was 18 cars, so 6 of the 16 Chase drivers were already in by some other method.
I wouldn't care if they were running Neons, I'd still watch.

Speed weeks is upon us but this year we are skipping it. I'm not sure what number of spectators will be allowed but we won't be among them. We had camping spots reserved from mid Jan to include the 500 but cancelled them all.
If you're going have a great time.
Of course this winter the weather in central NC has pretty much sucked. Most years the weather in Daytona isn't much better than home.

Kyle Larson (Hendricks #5 in 2021) won the Chili Bowl for the second straight year.

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. (JTG #47) was seventh in the A main.

Christopher Bell (Gibbs #20) was 14th.

Of course all have extensive dirt experience. Bell and Larson have won the Chili Bowl previously. Larson and Stenhouse are two of three active cup drivers to have won NASCAR Cup, USAC Silver Crown, USAC National Sprint Series, USAC National Midget Series Races.

Q - 1 - Who is the other driver, who also participated in the Chili Bowl for the first time this year? No cheating with Wikipedia)

Busch Clash on the road course in a couple of hours. Can hardly wait. Sure hope it doesn't interfere with putting on the feed bag here in the West.

And my favorite Ryan Blaney on the pole. Hope he stays out front past turn one.
