Cloud, that track that your friend is opening looks really, really nice. Also a great website and a good kickoff to 2020.

Speaking of racin' it's not looking too good for the 400.... tonight anyway. Area of rain stretching coast to coast across the Central peninsula heading straight toward Daytona. Tomorrow's forecast not much better but if they start in the morning they could get it in.

Remember in the olden days before lights, when the race started at 1130 am and always on the 4th of July? That's a story for another day ...
But... NBC and NASCAR decided to go at 1pm so the race wouldn't be head to head with the Womens' World Cup? They should have gone earlier to avoid going head to head with the weather again....

IMO they have to consider the reasons. In the first place, Why are they in the game? In the second place,....all the other reasons. Follow the money. Besides, the World Cup is more important. How many kids, all over the world, are exposed to, AND can participate in soccer?
The TV people called the shots, (this time). Good Luck to NASCAR, and my guy Kyle Busch. But, I put my money on the wealthiest team owners. Big money wins, most of the time.

Hey Cloud, the train could have made it's scheduled 160 lap run if they started 2 hours sooner. But alas, most of the contenders got taken out by Dillon's 'block'.For this version of a NASCAR'S 'lost weekend' they ought to give the fans a refund.....

Why do I remember that they announced Sat night that the race would be at 10:00 AM Sunday morning? They could have run it on NBCSN and gotten it in instead of the debacle it became. A real race fan wouldn't have been watching soccer anyway.
I feel sorry for the fans that were game enough to hang in there just to come away with nothing. For many it may have been the only race they could ever afford to attend.
Boyer had the race if he just waited one more second to dive bomb Austin.

Don't abandon the science of it, and Don't fire the scientists. OK Ok, go ahead, forget the science. If you want a racetrack that will produce fast trains and "the big one", just copy Daytona. And, if you want to mess with nature, just keep doing what we're doing,....(warming the globe).
Soccer is more simple than auto racing, but it's changing as we speak),...EQUAL PAY, equal pay.
BTW did you notice that my guy KYLE BUSCH had a quick answer?
