Got to keep this alive.

Enjoyed the night race at Bristol. Good hard racing. Yes, fenders get bent and tempers frayed.

NASCAR CUP 2022 SCHEDULE

The schedule gets rougher for road warriors or anyone trying to follow the teams.

From the opening "The Clash" at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Feb 6 to the "Season Finale 500" at Phoenix on Nov 6 -

38,047.2 miles according to my trip planning software.

The longest week long trip would be from Las Vegas on Oct 16 to Homestead Miami on Oct 23 - 2,566.3 miles

The shortest week trip is 171.1 miles from Martinsville on Sat, Apr 9 to Bristol on Sunday, Apr 17.

Seven trips of over 2,000 miles, 7 other trips between 1,000 and 1,999 miles.

13 trips between 500 and 999 miles, 8 shorter than 499 mile trips between tracks.

And this does not cover the mileage to and from the shops.

Just the miles a fan would need to drive to watch each race.

Paw did you read the info on the LA deal? They haven't even finalized how they are going to do it. Looks like another making of a complete cluster that could easy resemble Indy. Is pot legal in North Carolina because somebody is smoking something.

NC will probably be the last state to join the wacky weed club. We don't even have medicinal for those that need it.
That schedule is certainly wacky however.
I loved the look on Harvick's face when he took his helmet off.

The large crowd was impressive. The fans sure got treated to some exciting racing. Kyle Larson's driving talent was on display, but I also enjoyed the fact that he gave Chase Elliot credit. IMO luck is random.

Luck is the residue of design. Branch Rickey

FYI he brought Jackie Robinson into Baseball.

NASCAR guys learn to 'express their displeasure' young. In go karts or other similar entry level.

Remember Sam Hornish talking about getting wrecked by Danika after the checkered flag at Talladega, saying it wasn't anything unusual. The last time he got in real trouble at a race track was for kicking her ass when she attacked him after a race for running her off the course.

He was eleven, she was nine.

Any bets on what lap Chase gets dumped? I think late if he is in contention, otherwise the surprise may be in a future race when it can have maximum impact.
NASCAR loves this stuff while pretending not to. It's great for attendance and TV numbers.

I doubt Kevin or Chase will dump each other going forward after the meeting in Chase's hauler, at least for the rest of this year. Teammates now that's a different thing.
