Inverhuron Provincial Park Ontario

Can anyone provide first hand info on this park. We usually go to Sauble Beach but are looking for an alternative - something quieter and less expensive.

Which campground would be best for walking access to the beach? It appears Gunn Point C.G. is closest but is it walkable? ? ?

Holmes Bay section has huge pull thru sites. Sites in other areas can be much smaller and difficult to impossible for large rigs. There is a Sandy beach in front of the group camping area near homes bay section. Just a nice bike ride or longer stroll. Love Inverhuron.

We camped at Sauble Falls and Inverhuron 2 weeks ago and have been several times in the past. Really enjoy it there, large private sites and lots to do in the area. We were in the newer section (Holmes Bay) with a nice pull thru site.

Gunn Point is the closest to the main sandy beach and is an easy walk. There is a trail along the waterfront that connects from all the campgrounds. You can access the water from any point along the trail too but it is rocky except for the beach area. The water was perfect.

Provincial parks have the same fees so price will be the same as Sauble Falls unless you were at a private campground. As for any PP make a reservation well ahead.

Cant help with your specific questions ,but a friend stayed there after it was reconfigured and liked it a lot ,however warned that the electric was not redone (at that time) and needed even longer then usual extension cords because of the site repositioning at some sites.
