We have bought a 2004 Tioga 26Q new in late 2003 almost identical to Jamboree models. The chassis is the standard E-450 V-10. There have been some improvements in transmissions and brakes in recent years. The house box quality i.e. cabinetry and general factory workmanship is average. The appliances, AC, furnace, fridge, microwave, converter charger and house battery set up are pretty standard. Our fridge, roof AC cooling unit, awning fabric, house batteries and converter/charger needed replacement at around ten years, longevity of yours may vary. If you buy used, get as new as you can afford. Engine, cooling system , transmission, brake system, lights, dash AC should be inspected by a pro truck mechanic. Housebox and contents of used rig should be inspected by an RV service, Don't buy a rig with evidence of water damage. Get written estimates for parts and labpr for repairs/upgrades, before you buy. Don't buy extended warranty package, set money aside for maintenance and repairs instead. If you buy used, replace tires that are older than 5-6 years old by date codes imprinted on tires and/or that have any sidewall cracking.
