Picking up camper on Wednesday, little worried about weight. Have 2017
Ram limited3500 DWR with stock rear air suspension . Camper coming in at
4807 lb also once in a while will tow boat 9300 lb. enough truck?

I ordered mine with the 9k AC. I had no issues running it with a single 2k honda genset
Now that I installed my 6 6volt batts and a 4k PSW inverter. It runs with no issues with or without the genset. My inverter is wired to run the entire camper. It is also a smart 3 stage charger.
I leave my fridge on LP all the time, although I did test it and it runs just fine off the inverter.
If we were plugged in for a few days I would change it back to electric, but we don't do that very often.

Ours is supposed to be ready in a week or so to pick up at Host. I think we will have it home by then.

Bank will most likely be (4) 200 Ah 12 volts with safe DOD to 80% There is also room to install (3) 300 Ah Batteries. Still on the fence. I want to have camper in hand to double verify dimensions before ordering batteries.

Still wondering if Teagan got his A/C resolved. Curious what the model number on his A/C is. The Penguin is available in several BTU configurations with different power requirements for lock rated amps.

I think I am going to go ahead and install a soft start in ours right off the bat. According to Dometic the unit has a LRA requirement of 56Amps. The surge spec on our inverter will cover that but prefer not to go there on such a regular basis as the AC would demand.

Sent off email to dealer and factory, no response probably because of holiday
Weekend. My big thing is wanted everything done by factory, now l am 9 hours
Away from both.
