I can't help with your confusion that you don't need to "stamp" a straight pieces of steel to put a straight bend in it. (Since you know I was talking only about the skin on the truck....)

I tend not to argue against the methods and systems of a company who already made billions on what they've been doing.

Saves me too from being grifted into investing to a fraudulent scheme by fake billionaire whose victims never learn. [emoticon]

Gigafactory Texas on 22 June 2022! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Stunning sunrise reveals a noticeably increased production rate of Model Y’s at Giga Texas, now estimated at about 50 per day or so. Car Carriers are picking up and transporting a similar number every day as well, and the rate appears to be picking up as well! Other major changes today include concrete work on the west side of General Assembly, North electrical substation grading work, & battery cathode steel assembly and footing progress.
In this video introduction, we discuss recent news concerning shipments of Lithium (specifically Spodumene Concentrate 6 or SC6) from one of Tesla's many (and new) suppliers of raw materials. The planned shipment is at the end of this year and since Giga Texas is the only place Tesla currently has which can accept this material and then produce Lithium Hydroxide, we now have a firmer timeline that the construction effort will need to achieve.
Also, in my 12 March 2021 video, I covered in depth what Spodumene Concentrate 6 (SC6) is, how it is mined and refined, and how Tesla plans on using this to make Lithium Hydroxide, so if you'd like a more in-depth discussion, I'd refer you back to my 12 March 2021 video.
I then provide a hypothetical rendering of how the finished Battery Cathode plant may appear.

Personal question- just how many Elon Musk posters do you have on your bedroom walls? Not judging or anything.

LOL...
Look at it this way. At least they're probably Musk/Tesla posters and not Pride posters!

I'm a little disappointed. No post from @Grit dog saying there is not enough ice plants in the US to supply the ccolant for these Tesla Semi Megacharger.

And I guess he would be adding the prognosis that we have a severe drought out west and ensuing water shortage.[emoticon]

I stopped holding my breath on making those Cybertruck body with just a "brake and shear".

I wonder if he feels the same about Elon now that he said he will vote Republican because he feels that Democrats have become the party of "division and hate".

They are coming for you Elon....

US approved self driving EV truck

Looks like an EV truck can work after all. I liken this to the first diesel locomotives that only had range and purpose in the switch yard. Will not be long until they are on the main line.
