Poof, and just like that, the plaid is gone. Like a f--t in the wind......gone. I wonder when Tusk is going to say the same thing about the Semi?

That "Poof" was shorter than the bankruptcy and Elon's jail time combined.
Or did you mean gone as in sold out?
I can't wait for the performance version of the Semi

You still waiting for that full self driving car? LOL Or the million robotaxies?
Speaking of Semi's. What happened to all of those car carriers that Tusk bought?

I assume the car carriers are busy working delivering the record and growing vehicle production from the factories. Have you heard otherwise?

On a somewhat related subject the Saudis may have solved most of the issues with getting enough lithium and a very reasonable price. It seems that lithium is present in sea water in economically viable concentrations for extraction. No mining needed!
Lithium via reverse osmosis.
My favorite quote from the article:
"Will we end up regretting it if we pull all the lithium out of the oceans? Will all the fish go bipolar? "
Fortunately, that doesn't seem like it is likely to turn into an issue. I would hate to ever encounter a bipolar great white on a bad day while snorkeling.

Quote: FritoLay is reportedly installing the first Tesla Semi “Megacharger” at its delivery center in Modesto, California. The charging stations are being installed as part of the current facility’s expansion and will service up to 100 Tesla Semi trucks.

The largest lithium source is in used/depleted/etc Lith-ion batteries.
In the dumps…in recycling center…in BEV’s running around…flashlights…cellphones…etc
All that is needed is to gather them up and recycle them for all of the precious metals in their containers

Now back related to topic of a semi:
"Tesla Inc. has parted ways with Jerome Guillen, a 10-year veteran who most recently served as president of heavy trucking and was one of four top executives running the company including CEO Elon Musk."
So either big issues with the truck and time to cash out, or big issues with truck and incorrect decisions are being made.
At least Frito-Lay has eaten the chips.
