64000 on my C7, reset the valves at 45000, all were tight. No other problems with engine. Regular oil and fuel filter changes at 6000 , always use Cat filters and oil.

I've got a Cat C15 in my Peterbilt and it has 860,000 miles on it. It has never seen a Cat dealer. It gets a little warm when it's pulling hard... changing thermostats made no difference, changing the rad helped some...water pump next.

352K on our 2004 3126E, valves adjusted at 200K...nothing really out of adjustment. 1 Heui pump, a few injectors, then replaced all of them. Still going strong, just drove it to Virginia for a job this weekend.

Well,
At present, we now have 83,000 miles on our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 33OHP. It's been a great engine. I had the valves adjusted at about 60K miles and, made pretty much, zero difference in mileage or power. The engine ran the same after the adjustment. I just recently, at 82,000 miles, replaced my entire fan bearing assembly, belts, hoses, thermostats (CAT calls them "Regulators") and a few other odds and ends. Oh, and a failing water pump.

I had to pull both the radiator and CAC in order to perform all this maintenance/repair/replacement. Although I can remove both top engine bay covers from under the bed, getting to all the important bolts/clamps etc. for all that work would have been IMPOSSIBLE without pulling the rad and the CAC. Even though the 82K mile fan bearing was still turning, it was a tad bit noisy when I spun it by hand.

There was a youtube video about a gent replacing his C-7 water pump at a campground and, while that didn't look too bad, I wouldn't/couldn't do mine that way if someone paid me. I have plenty of pics of this recent job but, no way to show them on RV.net.

About 59,770 miles on my 2004 Gulf Crescendo, which I've only had for 3 weeks. I put 105 miles on it myself bringing it back from the dealership. However, it is my intention to put a thousand or so on it every year until I retire in 5 years and 5 weeks from today. After that it's probably going to rack up 5,000 to 10,000 miles a year as we start touring the USA.:B

Just over 65K on our 05 Alfa See Ya! Still runs like a dream. Only thing we saw was some overheating at about 58K, bad thermostat. Had the system flushed and the radiator cleaned out.

Presently 130,680. At 118,000 had several of the injector cup seals go bad. Valve lash checked at that time, all OK.

I checked my valve lash at 40K and it took little to no adjustments, so no noticeable change in performance. I have good engine access from the top and the job was pretty easy.

I have 51K on mine. I had the HEUI pump go which required changing the injectors because of the metal shavings the pump put out. Expensive but covered by my extended maintenance contract.
