Roadtrek Dimp Hose

I have a Roadtrek RS Adventurous - the dump hose has cracks which I have taped over. I'm having my macerator pump replaced next week by a RT dealer and requested by dump hose be replaced. But I read in some forum that the replacement hose has a expected life of 3 years, and won't hold up in salty road conditions.

Any information out there to verify that info? Or are there more than one RT replacement option?

Mine is still the original hose, it’s about 7 years old. It had a pinhole leak once at about 2 feet from the end of the hose. I just cut it short and have been leak free for years. The hose is stored in an enclosed compartment and should not be exposed to salty road conditions, I think the reason that many reports of hose leaking is that the hose enclosure is small/ cramped for the length of the hose and hose is overly twisted in that enclosed space once all stored, the rubber just stretches and weakens overtime from the extreme bends thus resulting in leaks or rupture.
