Salami For Christmas................

I made a 20 pound batch of Salami for Christmas and New Years. This will make yummy Salami Sandwiches! This will be going with us on our camping trip over New Years Week End.

These are synthetic casings from Southern Indiana Butcher Supply.

Sliced up.....came out real good. Strangely enough, take a 1/2" slice of this, brown it just a bit, put an egg on it and plop it on a dinner role for a breakfast slider..........pretty yummy

Looks delicious. I loved the salami sandwiches my Mom made me as a kid. Good deli salami and mustard on soft white bread. As I got older I enjoyed the same, but with a slice of onion too. Never had homemade salami though. Where are you camping over New Years?? ๐Ÿ˜„
