Water pump out

We discovered that our water pump circuit was no longer working.
We have three switches that will turn the circuit on, each has a green LEDs that lights when the circuit is on. none of these LEDs would light up when the switch was activated. and of course the pump would not come on either.

I found there is a Intellitec 7 amp latching controller that controls the pump. (00-00145-000)
I pulled the hot wire from the latching controller and found 12 volts. (it's getting power)
I put it back, and pulled the black wire marked load, using a test lead I made a good ground and the pump ran.
I then checked continuity from a known good ground to the connector on the latching controller marked ground and found an open circuit. (no ground)

new latching controller on order

thought you folks could file this info for future use.
