I think we have settled on the Arctic Fox 1140 dry bath. Big fridge, extra counter space and keeping the floor below the bed rails. I am curious if any of you have one and what your real world dry weight was when fully optioned.

Can a F550 be had from the factory with a bed or ready to accept one? @Reality Check, your F550 really got my brain going.

Outfitters retro beds onto the 450/550 chassis. Ours had one when I got it.

FYI, the 450 p/u versions and the 450 chassis are different trucks. Lot's of info on here on the subject.

I now see some of the creature comforts I love in the higher trim Heavy Duty's is not available. I really like the 360 camera. I use mine daily in my F150. Best for me to stay with the F350/450.

Brholt's review may be helpful. He has a 1150 with gasoline engine DRW. He shares his thoughts at this link.

Thanks for the info. Makes choosing a truck easier. Almost makes a gas F350 DRW seem like the best option.

^^^ yup..

we're over 5k without even trying. But for the layout, 40's and 50's are within 100#'s I think.

I recall mine being 5200 loaded. I had both an 1140 and an 1150.
