releasable pressure sensitive adhesive

Has anybody had experience using this type of adhesive to replace sheet vinyl in their unit.

I have to replace mine, and this seems like a good idea to use in case there is future damage to the floor.

Thanks,
Doug

This is one, there are many various manufacturers:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/TEC-Gallon-Pail-Trowel-Carpet-and-Sheet-Vinyl-Flooring-Adhesive/4764741

Its a pressure sensitive adhesive that is not designed to form a permanent bond, but will allow the vinyl to be relatively easily removed (or so I am understanding). I've glued sheet vinyl down a number of times, but never used this type of adhesive.

Thinking seriously using, but was hoping to see if someone had tried it!!

I've done a fair amount of installing self stick vinyl tile squares and it is reasonably easy to do.

We've got several areas in our house where we've laid down Tarkett Loose Lay Vinyl Flooring and haven't had any issues at all. Just cut it to size and lay it in place - done. If I were to replace the flooring in our trailer Tarkett is what I'd use as it's far easier than having to glue it down.

Or you could just use large Post-It notes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Actually, 3M makes a tape that might do the job:

That stuff looks expensive -- so it might not be practical for RV flooring.
