We just upgraded our toad from a 2003 Honda Odyssey with a 2018 Ford F-150. Trying to decide on what to use to protect the new truck especially while towing. See posts for Protect a Tow, the Blue Ox shield as well as the Lebra products. Anyone have any feedback to share either good or bad on these or other products you recommend. Thanks!

Prepare thyself for the opinion parade.
From past threads/topics on this subject, you'll get a range of comments from every one is great to simply go without.
Personally, I'm using a DIY mesh tarp cover stretched across the front end of our Wrangler from just above the tow bar knuckles to half way up the hood, held in place by bungee cords. I hope it will protect the nose and lights from light to medium weight road debris. It has not been road tested under live towing conditions, but I expect it to be functionally somewhere in between Protect a Tow, and nothing. It cost about C$50 to create. [emoticon]

We've been very pleased with the protection and ease of installation with our Protect-A-Tow in over 50,000 miles of towing toads.

Is this the one you have?

Or this one?

Sorry about buying a ford (Joke).. I bought a 3M clear Bra for my Yukon. Covered front and mirrors.

Still run a protect-a-tow on long trips.

The first one Is the Protect a Tow. It's similar to the Roadmaster Tow Defender screening shield.

The second one has been discontinued by Blue Ox. I know, because I tried to get one last year. They've gone to a solid vertical defensive shield, similar to Roadmaster's Guardian, that looks very difficult to deploy and to remove, so I went with my DIY solution mentioned above.
