Newly purchased used pop up. AC runs great for about 5 minutes then the breaker flips. 122 volts coming in. Standard OEM cord. Nothing else running. Original AC unit on a 2002. AC cools great for 5 minutes. One split breaker, 15 amp to AC and 20 amp to the rest. 20 amp receptacle service. Breaker feels warm. Bad breaker???? What an I missing? Thanks

The spare 25' cord that was attached to the camper cord was bad at the connection. YEAA. $30 fix. Thanks for the replies.

Sounds like low on Freon. That will cause too much cooling, and then freeze up.

A 2002 AC unit, 16 years old, isn’t working or working well, and your question is? Enjoy the five minutes! Or replace the AC.

Maybe just a loose wire connection at the breaker. Check the screw!
Otherwise since it gets warm, replace it. they wear out.
