So I think I have this figured out, but I thought I'd run it by here. Coming from Seekonk Ma. leaving mid June, we have 10 weeks planned for this adventure. I'll make my way to I78 and pick up I81 at Fredericksburg Pa., then (here we go) I81/I40/I75/I59/I20 to US 82 and on west to Lubbock TX. Figure I'll use the big city bypasses as needed. I know this is a lot to absorb, and I'm wondering if I should try to figure out another path for all or part of the run to US 82. I'm planning on 200 to 250 miles per day. Start and quit early and relax. I95 is an alternative but I just tend to avoid that road as much as possible. I wanted to take a reasonably fast route to US 82, then enjoy America. I'll check out road construction each day then change my plan as needed.
