This forum is not full of "stuff" and I find it much easier to use then others. If you want to get some information, this is the place. If you want to play with technology maybe this is not the place for you.

Concur !

IMHO, this must be very old software. This is the only site I frequent that does NOT allow uploading of images. Plus all of the "formatting" (bold, italic, etc.) works "backwards" to other bulletin board software (i.e. here you must click the format and then enter the text, or do your own hand entered formatting)

Disk drives are CHEAP these days !

Programming is, apparently, not. They won't even change the link "Forum Help and Support" to Forum Technical Support, in an attempt to discourage people posting RV questions in this forum.

Posting photos is easy if you find the post that tells you how to do it.
The search engine is .... .. Well it's not just you.

Instructions are seldom written for "dummies". AND, most "dummies" don't know how to ask their question. For example, I never could make anyone understand what I meant when I explained that my photos (in Photobucket) ONLY could be used in slideshow mode. I no longer can use them individually, like I did for many years. Photobucket is holding my precious photos hostage (900+). I guess they never were really mine,....what do I know.
I don't have a smart phone.

The change would be absolutely quick and easy.

simply start a dedicated Face Book page.
then change the link to this page.

Moderators can limit or control who gets in and what they do/post

Been a member here for years, and even back when I joined, the user interface here was antiquated. I sent many 'nice' requests to the powers that be asking that they get a bit modern and NOTHING was ever done. And that was both before and after the site was sold. I gave up trying to get them to modernize. The only way they will ever do that is for thousands of us to stop coming here.

Look at Quick Reply for instance...I don't know of any site left on the internet that has that...where you have to click on Advanced, to activate advanced features. Like BOLD or Italics. And here if you DO click on advanced, all your work is deleted and a new empty box is shown. GAH! So many times I've lost my work simply because I wanted to 'BOLD' something. NONE of the other forums I work on are as antiquated as this one is. Only reason I come here is because it has so many users, so if you have a question about your RV, you'll get lots of answers.

But as far as a good 'look & feel' or 'user friendly' operation this site definitely ISN'T up there with the vast majority of web forums.
