What kind of reccomendations does anyone have for cleaning and waxing the nose and back end of their 5th wheel. I cannot seem to get it looking good.

Poli glow stripper works well for removing ZEP. Zep stripper is hard on the decals and is a ton of work. Truth is nothing that is good is easy.

The last one you'll ever try.

Prevents lake stain on your boat too.

I just ordered 2 16oz bottles from AutoGeek for a total of $36.02

Rejex at AutoGeek

Never have used it before but reading reviews all over the net sems to indicate that this stuff goes on and comes off easily and holds up pretty good. The key is the surface must be clean and free from any oxidation etc. Since my 5er is new the surface just needs cleaned.

For those of you that want to use Zep Floor I did that on the back of my old 5th wheel and while I got a shine at first it did eventually turn slightly yellow and then to flake. Getting the rest off was a bear. Maybe I let it go to long but what I read at the time is you need to strip the old off before you apply new. Just like floors. Also it does not provide any UV protection at all.

I've been using it on everything. Works great on stainless steel as well. I plan to try it on the aluminum front of my horse trailer when the weather gets better.

I use Sea Foam BBG1 Cleaner bug cleaner, then wash it with Meguiars car wash.

After it dries, I coat it liberally with Aerospace 303 and let it air dry. when its mostly dry I wipe it with a 303 dampened microfiber cloth to get the drips.

303 is amazing stuff.

Never tried it but concerns about if starting to flake?
Just a thought..............
Several videos on youtube.

Do NOT use ZEP floor products on your RV. It was put on our unit last spring and though it did improve the looks it did not adhere to the decals and flaked off in little more than a day. The decals look like s__t and don't know what it would take to fix it.

Take a look at this line of products. I've recently bought some for my aluminum boat.

Then your screwed. Using any sort of abrasives on aluminum siding will scratch thru the extremely thin paint layer. Wash and wax just like you would with a car finish.
