Wiper Blades

Its been 14 years and I have not replaced the wiper blades (always sunny in Socal) and I am going in a trip to UTAH in 3 weeks, so I thought it was time to get some new ones.
I have a FL chassis, but have no idea what blades to get.

Help, what is the factory blade and is there a better aftermarket version ?

Thanks

x2. The local ones here carry Goodyear wiper blades, and they are very good. Hard to beat at <$8 each.

Don't mess with inserts, just buy the entire assembly and do it right.

Camping world has a folder that shows your unit and the correct replacement. I know I feel the same way about them but you only have to buy them once. You can go there and get the correct part no. then go to Amazon.

Like mentioned, just measure the blade.

Now go to Amazon and order just the blade insert, not the entire assembly. That way you're not throwing away all the metal wiper assembly. It's only like $10 with free shipping if you're a Prime member. Most all stores now carry the entire assembly instead of the economical and environmentally sensitive insert. But you can still get just the insert.

Here's a link to a 26" insert to get you started...they can be cut. This one is 6mm but some are wider so measure that too. Mine is 28" but didn't have any trouble finding it on Amazon. Rubber wiper blade.

Wiper blades have nothing to do with the type chassis you have. ALL wiper blades are installed aftermarket by the RV maker. You just measure the length of the blade and usually Wal Mart super centers has the larger style blades needed for a motorhome. Doug
