01 Holiday Endeavor Diesel ignition problem

I have a problem. When I turn the key nothing happens on the dash where all the gauges are. House batteries and the Cranking batteries are fully charged and the switches are in the on position. The alternate switch that helps crank with use of the house batteries does not function. I recently removed a motion sensor that was hardwired into the 12 V system. I guess what I’m looking for is a reset switch or the location of the ignition fuse ....

Is there a start button in the engine service bay? If so, try turning on the key and starting with the button. This will somewhat isolate where the problem is.

you left an open circuit when you removed the motion sensor

now you have to either jumper/splice/fix that open circuit
or return the motion sensor to fix circuit

That was kind of my thoughts as well.

Did this start immediatly after removing the motion sensor? If so, there's the place to look.

If it started after removing the sensor, and then quit starting, that is a different situation.

What have you done to the motor home since it started the last time?
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

Let me ask you. By the term "When I turn the key", Are you talking about trying to turn the engine over or, are you just trying to turn on the ignition to activate the gauges? If you're getting gauge activation when you turn the ignition "ON", then that part is fine. But, if you're not getting any engine cranking, then yes, you need to look for a starter relay or set of relays. Different diesel coaches have them in different places.

might look for a blown fuse ,you said you were working on the 12v system.

OK, two most likely suspects are:

IGNITION SOLENOID

Ignition Switch

Start by locating the ignition solenoid and testing it (need a voltmeter-- even a cheap one).
