Doesn't bother me that much. I just check the little box and go on.

Have you tried to save rv.net after you have logged in.
That's what I have done on my computer.
When I hit the link to open rv.net, it opens up and I'm already logged in.
Never see, captcha.

Some clueless and rude responses.

1. CAPTCHA isn't at login, bookmarks don't make an iota of difference.

2. Dennis12- How much do YOU pay for this site? How much are you paid to respond to things about which you know nothing?

A PROPERLY working site is acceptable. Refusing to correct glaring errors and defects is not.

Failing to correct something as simple as user validation is ridiculously lazy. 13yr old level stuff.

It's killing this site. Responses that BULLY users who report the errors runs people off and is very bad manners.

All the ostriches hiding their heads in the sand can move onto other threads now...

I am on this site several times each day. Probably more than I should. And usually post at least once a day. And I have never seen captcha on this forum. Rare occasions on other web sites, but never here. Guess I am doing something different.

Silly argument. Every website is free. Maybe, eventually.

Count yourself fortunate then. But when this finally happens to you, you will then join the ranks of the frustrated:

Two screens. First, click the check mark, (or you get the page where you have to verify how many autos you see, or how many are storefronts, or how many are road signs.

That in itself is not so bad. What is bad is when you finally get past all that and then the second page happens (below). So you back out and just start all over, only to find out your post never made it. It got blown away to oblivion.

You WILL eventually see this happen.

The above looks like Chrome. Is it? Are you guys running an AV program?

I run Chrome, no AV, and trailerlife portal. I have never seen Captcha.

We use Chrome. Is it a Chrome related thing? Captcha seems to come and go. Not keeping track but seems like it can be gone for weeks or months and then suddenly reappear with a vengeance only to disappear again. Seems to have started about a year ago?? Does changing portals really make a difference?

I can be posting fine then it suddenly comes out of nowhere. Sometimes all it takes is adding 3 words to an edit and it comes up and blocks me. Sometimes when making an edit I have to add/change a few words at a time or if lucky, one sentence at a time. Sometimes it won't let me post a link to anything. Sometimes it takes me to the part where it shows storefronts or traffic signs that I have to click on, and sometimes it doesn't. It gets really frustrating when I want to make a correction or add something and I can't or it takes forever to add a few words at a time.

I just don't understand why somebody can't step up and fix this? Besides the Captcha issue, this forum is so outdated and is like something from the 80s. Doesn't THE PROFIT have the resources to fix Captcha or update the forum? Can fixing it be that difficult or does someone just not care? I've used many forums around the internet and have never seen Captcha before or a forum so outdated.

Imagine newcomers to this forum getting caught up in Captcha. Not exactly a good invitation to stay.
