I had posted a post regarding a carburetor issue I was having with my Brave "falling on it's face" after warm-up. I'm not a mechanic and yield to the experts. The term Carburetor was used to me by professionals and so looking at the unit and listening to local professionals I had it in my mind that the unit was a carburetor but I was wrong. It is a throttle body injector that looks like a carburetor. I sent it to a speed shop and spent a huge amount of money and they got a Holly Unit tried to make it work then found out from Holly that unit would not work. They did some other stuff which has helped but I found a carburetor shop in my area that has a good reputation so I will send it to them when I can. I really believed in my mind based on the looks of the unit and what I was told by other professionals that it was a carburetor but they and I were wrong... Sorry.

Here is link to the original post.Previous post
Many carb shops have difficulty working on TBI units.
Suggest you go back through your previous post for better idea.
Still sounds like the IAC is clogged or not working.
Maybe rather then throwing more money get a replacement from a place like Rock Auto or O'Reilly auto parts.

1993 P32 chassis is throttle body injected. There are two injectors mounted on the throttle body. I believe your 'Professionals" are "want to bes" and are still amateurs.

Check that fuel pump inside the tank, the hose inside the tank splits.

I am reminded of my first Towed car. back before it became a towed car. Oh it was a 1992 Chevy and TBI.

But I had a problem with excessive brake pedal travel. The dealer acknowledged the problem but could not figure it out. They tried like 3 times and still made only a minor improvement.

Finally I took a stab at figuring it out
Sitting at my desk at work a good hundred yards or more from the car.

Next day I drove it to my Tire guy, gave them a SPECIFIC instruction
Drove out they were like new. (Well they were new at least the parts that were out of spec which I told him to inspect).

And the dealer's man is supposed to be FACTORY TRAINED!!!!!!.

(I"m self trained).

Home is where I park it.

Are you able to start it?

If so...does it die afterwards?

If so pull the EGR and plug the openings with a coke can cut to fit and reinstall the EGR to test. How does it run now?

If it runs good replace the EGR valve.

P-30 is a series of GM chassis. The following numeral tells what the exact chassis is. Mine for example is a P-37 chassis.
