The wind died down today and I now have gray on the front cap and hood.
I'll start the retapping tomorrow. But I'll have to wait a couple of days before I put any tape on the fresh gray paint.
So much tape, so little time!

Sweet! Open up the fluid knob and fan pattern, turn up the PSI and let her rip.

Got the red on today. I'll apply the reflective tape tomorrow.
Then it will be time to strip and paint the sides.
Shhhhhhhhh, you didn't see the light bar behind the grill.
Please dim your head lights when we meet.
Now where did I lay my paint ball gun?

Put the reflective tape on the front yesterday.
Removed the window awnings and ½ of the striping today.

Finally got all the stripes off the drivers side.
Here are a couple of pix showing how I removed the stripes.

Vinyl all wrinkled up after application of GraphXoff.

All cleaned up and some tape applied to the top.

The edging for the gray is done.
You can't believe how time consuming it is laying down 190 ft. of yellow tape. The paper goes a lot faster and easier.
Some day in the near future I may have stripes again.
Who knows, maybe some day I'll gussy up that ol 1990 F150 in the driveway.
I guess I could replace all the old antiques around here, but I'm not sure I want to break in a new wife.

You are a smart man, breaking in a new wife is expensive! ??

Kidding aside, this has been a fun project to watch!

Almost ready to lay down some gray.
Had to stop because of the approaching thunder storm.

And some times keeping a wife is expensive. I had to fire a wife because she spent $$ like our Federal Government does.

Tell me about the difference (other than color), between yellow and blue tape.
