Quite frankly, I don't know the answer to this question, but with me being an Ohioan, I would have much preferred that Cleveland won the NBA Championship! And the thing is, it isn't easy to sweep another Professional team, regardless if it is basketball, baseball, or Hockey! My best guess, is that perhaps the Cavaliers were just not 100% focused on the task at hand! If you have an opinion, I sure would like to hear it! Bags.

Well Bagman, Cavs don't have the talent level of the Dubs. LeBron played with a hand injury after the first game, which certainly didn't deminish his output. The part I liked about the injury was it never leaked out until after the sweep. Then you have J. R. Smith's brain fade at the end of the game. Kyle Kover not being able to get off his three pointers quick enough leading to bricks. And probably above all, and no he is not on the floor, but Dan Gilbert who to me is a complete H. A.

Well, I guess explains it all! I was just surprised that they (Cleveland) lost four straight games!

The reason Cleveland was swept is that basketball is a team game...
Golden State had a whole team.
Cleveland only had 1 player.

Are you referring to LeBaron James? If so, I personally don't think he was totally focused on basketball! ESPN did a review of how many Championship Games he wins when he comes to the arena casually dressed, compared to how many he wins when he is fully decked out in the finest suits and very expensive rings (bling) and the difference is extremely in favor of him winning more games when he arrives casually dressed! When one is competing at the highest level of competition, you have to be 100% mentally into the competition! Just saying!

Are you originally from Ohio? If so, which town or city?
I was born in Steubenville, lived in Toronto for 16 years, and Toledo, Ohio for 4 1/2 years! BTW, we were Cincinnati Reds baseball fans, although Pittsburgh, Pa. was only 35-40 minutes away! Cleveland was a 2 Hr. drive. Bags.

No, actually I was born in Saginaw, MI, raised in Calif, but now live in NC.
I love listening to baseball at nite in bed. I can listen to

Cincinnati Red on 700 - WLW
Cleveland on 1100 - WTAM
New York Yankees on 600 AM - WFAN
New York Mets on 710 AM - WOR
Washington Nationals on 1140 - WRVA
St. Louis cardinals on 1120 AM - KMOX - real late at nite
Chicago White Sox on 720 AM WGN - really late
occasionally on ESPN - Sunday baseball

there used to be a few other teams, but they switched radio station networks.

My wife is a Yankee fan.

I realize that this question is off topic, but which college(s) football teams do you root for? For me, it is Ohio State (no secret), Pitt (1/2 hour from hometown, & the Univ. of Toledo (my alma mater), and I've always liked LSU in the SEC! Bags....I had a cousin who played for Pitt and I've actually been to more Pitt games than Ohio State games and I idolized Jim Taylor FB at LSU & Green Bay Packers. Just really liked how he ran with the football. He was a FB who enjoyed dishing out punishment to would be tacklers!
