My tow vehicle shut down in middle of highway . Called roadside assistance after goin thru two or three people I was told I would have to unhook my fifth wheel in the middle of road because they did not cover campers. I thought Good Sam was a camper friendly company .Needless to say I was not happy

First post! Welcome Ed to the forums.

Sorry your first post has to be something negative, but lots of good stuff can be found here. Read away on different threads. Throw questions out there. There's a great bunch of people here who just ABSOLUTELY love to give advise, thoughts, and opinions anything related with RVing or camping.

I have only had to use my roadside assistance one time. My wife was driving home in her car during a pretty bad snow storm and slid off of the road close to home. We called good Sam and were told that due to the volume of calls, it could be a while to get a truck sent out. We got a call about 5 minutes later and were told that a truck was on the way from 30 miles away. She was put at the top of the list because she was off of the road, not just stuck in a parking lot. I was impressed by GS because a friend that had AAA had to wait 3 hours for the same service.

What does made it right mean?
The two times they called me and admitted they were wrong THEY did nothing.except say were sorry it should of never happened and that was as far as it went.
