NOPE, not true.

I NEVER "logout" of Goggle mail, and NEVER have had any "popups" or "popunders" or any other attempt to get me to install something..

Ditto here, always logged into Google and never have pop-ups.

As Microsoft moves to the Google concept, new updates of Windows result in Windows "pop-ups" with suggestions that I move to "the new" Edge browser. No thank you. Microsoft is moving as quickly as it can to the Google model so staying with Microsoft is just allowing a different company to use your info.

I just moved to a Linux distribution (Zorin OS) on one of my Win-10 desktops that got corrupted with the latest Windows update and it is interesting how my Google cloud-based world works just fine without Windows under it and better in several ways.
