We were at Indigo this week, site 46.
The Pierce Stocking drive has nice views. Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor. The inland lakes look nice, clear, sand bottom. You can float the Crystal
or Platte Rivers. Nice bike trails. Stop at the roadside stands the cherries are delicious. Don't miss seeing the D.H.Day barn on Rt. 109 between Empire and Glen Arbor. Fish Town in Leland looked interesting but we didn't make it up there. The weather was great. Have a great trip!

The Sleeping Bear Dunes are so cool! When we were there we had a wine tour service pick us up at Indigo Bluffs and take us out for the day on the Leelanau peninsula to the wineries. It was a great day and worth the $ to be driven around and ride. Enjoy your trip.

You're in the midst of Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat'l Lakeshore. That should be enough for the week! In any free time check out all the neat little towns in the whole peninsula. At Leland take the ferry over to South Manitou Island for a day trip. We gave the lighthouse tours there. Rent a canoe at the Platte River and do the safe, lazy float down to Lake Michigan. One week will not be enough. ๐Ÿ™‚
