Follow up to water pump

This post is a follow up to my earlier post in regards to my water pump being able to reach pressure but not being able to supply any flow rate. In the end I opened my winterizing valve and also left my tank valve open and blew 50psi of air through through the winterizing hose . Very fine red flecks drained out of the water tank and all is now fine. 🙂

Pretty much how I roll.:D Had to lose a bunch of electrical items before I bought an EMS. Guess its time to shop for a water filter.

Never thought of that but assume it was from the piping at the fill station at Harrison Lake State Park. Happened all at once and had been fine before that.

Thanks for the update. So do you think the red stuff was bits of the red Pex tubing?
