I have a solera xl on my camper and since owning it i have had to have the arm replaced because the drive head pulled through the arm. Currently it is sitting in my driveway with awning extended and no way to retract it because the shaft coming out of the drive motor sheared off in the motor. Has anybody else had similar problems with this awning and if so ant solutions? I understand that the shaft must be replaced but its getting to the point where i'm afraid to use the awning for fear something like this will happen while camping and i won't have the resources that i have at home.
