Video TR: Crested Butte, CO

We've been on the road for 2.5 months now steady, and we think that we've finally found Nirvana in Crested Butte.

Honestly, the sheer beauty of the Crested Butte area is unmatched in our travels, as is the quality and diversity of the outdoor recreation. In a week spent boondocking 6 miles north of town in Washington Gulch, we enjoyed world class hiking, mountain biking and kayaking, along with of course sightseeing and just generally gawking at the majesty of the West Elk mountains. On top of that, the historic downtown oozes more charm than a handful of other Colorado mountain towns could collectively only hope to.

Crested Butte is just so darned photogenic that we split our video TR into two parts:

Part I https://youtu.be/fVHqB4RetLo
Part II https://youtu.be/LwOds6xnjPA

Don't overlook this beautiful little slice of the Rockies in your RV travels through Colorado!

Excellent videos!! Those dogs sure looked like they were having fun. And it seems that you finally outran most of the smoke from the Far West. There was a little haze in some of the shots toward the south, but not too bad. Well done, and thanks again for posting the links.
